Paranormal Activity 2 has raked in $20 million at the box office already and the weekend has just begun. Check out some reviews and read more here!

33164, LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - Saturday August 8, 2009. Psychics, ghost hunters and lookie-loos gather on Cielo Drive in Beverly Hills at the murder site of Sharon Tate, 40 years to the date after her brutal slaying. David Oman, who owns a house built on the original estate where the murders took place, invited a team of ghost hunters from San Diego to observe paranormal activity and held a seance at the exact time the murders took place. Photograph: James Breeden, © PacificCoastNews.com

I saw the first Paranormal Activity last year and it scared the crap out of me and my family. I had to convince my husband and sister to go with me to see the low budget flick they thought was going to be stupid. We now own the DVD.

The second one is also doing really well, and is far surpassing expectations. The reviews are in, and for the most part, they are great.

Here was my favorite review from — Owen Gleiberman, Entertainment Weekly:

“In ‘Paranormal Activity 2,’ our eyes keep darting back and forth, scanning the sidewalks, the doorways, the posh bric-a-brac in that overstuffed kitchen, searching (before it can frighten us!) for a telltale bit of movement — for the barest hint of an apparition edging into the frame, or an inanimate object that decides to move around on its own. It’s like a haunted-house version of ‘Where’s Waldo.’ Alfred Hitchcock used to say that if you jolted an audience with a bomb blast out of the blue, that was merely a shock, but if you planted a bomb and made the audience wait for it to go off, that was suspense.

‘Paranormal Activity 2′ blends the two modes into what might be called shockpense. The film keeps jolting us out of the blue, all right — with sudden booms, doors that open of their own accord, or a frying pan that drops out of a pot hanger. In a funny way, though, what makes these devices work is their very randomness: They tickle us with terror because watching the movie, we do know that a bomb has been planted, only it’s a bomb — or, more accurately, a demon — you can’t see.”

You will not find my review because I am too freakin’ scared to see it. You mix in a baby and I am over it. I can’t deal!

There are reportedly more characters, more story line, and some added thrills. Over all it seems like it lives up to the hype and as a sequel does justice to the first film.

As of Friday night Paranormal Activity 2 raked in over $20 million at the box office. Along with Jack Ass 3D it seems the slump is over. We can expect a $30-$40 million weekend from the supernatural thriller.

Let me know what you think in the comments below. Have you seen it? Is it as good as it looks>

It’s the first child for the 29-year-old superstar and the fourth child for Beatz, whose real name is Kaseem Dean. The [...]

She only broke up with comedian Jim Carrey in April after five years together.

But model and actress Jenny McCarthy is proving she has moved on .

The 37-year-old was spotted spending time at the beach yesterday with her new boyfriend Jason Toohey in Miami, Florida.

Jenny looked radiant and happy as she soaked up the sun on a lounger and watched Jason swim in the ocean.

Wearing a bright orange bikini the mother of one showed off her enviable figure.

The actress is actually in Miami as part of a promotional tour for her new book Love, Lust and Faking It: The Naked Truth About Sex, Lies and True Romance.

McCarthy admitted to Larry King earlier this month that she had moved on following her break-up and was dating again.

‘I am calling it very light dating, nothing too serious, just kind of gliding,’ she said of the budding romance.

‘I’m just not double-dipping, I’m exclusive,’ she told him.

Toohey, 35, is a businessman and former Las Vegas performer and fitness model.

The pair debuted their relationship back in August as they spent a weekend together in the city of sin.

The following week, Toohey changed his facebook relationship status to ‘in a relationship’ and posted a picture of him and Jenny snuggling as his profile picture.

The South Park Jersey Shore episode was hilarious! Even Snooki herself loved it and Tweeted about it! Check it out here and see the video for yourself!

Last night the South Park Jersey Shore episode aired and it was absolutely a must see!

The video is posted below, and you can read more about it here. The episode concluded with the Snooki character, complete with a jar of pickles, slippers, poof, and hoop earrings, getting punched in the face after trying to rape Cartman.

The real Snooki took to her Twitter page to give props the episode saying, “snooki want smoosh smoosh. im going to have nightmares tonight lmao!!! we’ve officially made it. goodnite my bitches

You can watch the episode in its entirety here.

Other famous New Jersians were also poked at on the show, including the Real Housewives Danielle Staub and Teresa Giudice.

South Park is actually the perfect venue to make fun of the Jersey Shore, being it is so raunchy and pretty much has no limitations. I think they should have made fun of The Situation a bit more. I mean dude brings home grenades half the time and acts like he is banging models. Also, his temper tantrum on DWTS would have been a side-splitting scene. Oh, well just my personal edits!

Overall they did a fantastic job! I am actually bummed the second season of the Jersey Shore is coming to an end, but I am dying to see what season three brings!

You can check out the photos and video posted below, I have thrown in a few video clips along with photos of the Jersey Shore cast. Check them out and then leave me your thoughts on the episode in the comment section!

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi attends the Donations of Love Drive

Parade.com has a very revealing interview with Grammy Award-winning singer and actor Rick Springfield today. In his painfully confessional autobiography Late, Late At Night, Springfield serves up details of his tormented childhood and a years-long struggle with sex addiction that threatened to destroy his marriage and career.

Here are some highlights:

No holds barred…

“I write to be truthful in my songs, which is why I wrote what’s painfully truthful about my life in my autobiography. Sex with different women was a habit for me. When you’re married with a family, you start to understand what you might lose, including even your sanity. The danger in promiscuity is that it’s always barking at your heels.”

Sex can be like a drug…

“It becomes the thing that you use to make you feel good. It’s not, ‘Oh, I’m feeling turned on tonight.’ It’s a power thing. It’s like, ‘If I have sex with this pretty girl that’s got to mean something — she is OK with having sex with me. So there must be something OK about me’ — because you start so far down in your own self-esteem. That’s my home down there, and I’ve had to fight that depression all of my life.”

Will his fans be surprised?

“I think some of them probably suspected even worse. But there’s a lot of things in the book that I’ve never talked about, starting out with my attempt at suicide at the age of 17. It’s one of the most terrible things, and it comes back to haunt you, especially once you have kids. I was there mentally. I was ready to go. I’ve tried to show in the book how much a gift my life has been because I didn’t succeed.”

Did you see Jennifer Grey’s DWTS Tango on Monday night? If you didn’t all I can say is you have to watch the below video. Jennifer’s killer dance is why she was the Caption This photo contest of the week. Learn all about her performance and see who is the big winner of the contest!

Jennifer Grey

Jennifer Grey’s DWTS Tango scored 10’s and not just any 10’s but the first of the season. In a minute I will tell you all about her performance and the fantastic score but right now I want to tell you who won the Right Celebrity’s Caption This photo contest for the week.

I have say you guys were on fire with captions this week and I loved it. That being said may I have a drumroll please. This weeks winner is Kristina who had this super witty comment.

Sexy brought ‘Baby’ back!

Oh so true Kristina.

Back to the topic at hand which is Jennifer and Derek’s kick but dance routine on last nights show. Let me put it to you this way they were so good that Bruno called them a “primetime delight” which considering some of his remarks towards the stars this season were less than respectful is quite the compliment.

On DWTS the Jennifer Grey Tango was hot and sexy showing a side of the Dirty Dancing star that is rarely seen, which is why she was our Caption This photo contest for the week. Grey sure proved that she still has some moves in her that along with Hough’s sexiness the two were heating things up in the ballroom. Seriously it was so flipping good and their scores prove it as they scored 9’s & 10’s regaining the top spot once again. Enough talk from me check out Grey and Hough’s hot, sexy performance in the below video.

Congrats to Kistina for being this weeks winner. Be sure to check back on Tuesday when an all new hot topic and picture will waiting for your comments!

First there was the kissin’, then there was the hand-holdin’ … all in Paris, France — the city of lights and love. Today we learn that new lovebirds Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez have imported their lurve from France to put on display here in SoCal. Halle and Olivier showed up here in LA this week lookin’ in love as ever at a photographic art exhibit in West Hollywood, CA:

Their relationship is still in its infancy but Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez are fast becoming inseparable. The loved up pair headed out last night to a photography exhibition at the Marcelita Gallery in West Hollywood. Arriving together, in a classic car driven by Olivier, the pair were affectionate and romantic, holding hands and gazing into each other’s eyes as they browsed the selection and chatted with other patrons. Earlier in the day the couple headed out for a spot of lunch in Los Angeles and Halle appeared very smitten with her new beau. Wearing a white tank with a huge thumbprint on the front, Halle stayed close to the french actor as they walked from the car. They spent time in an office building in Beverly Hills before grabbing some lunch and heading back to Halle’s house in West Hollywood. Martinez flew from France, his home country, to Los Angleles at the beginning of the week to spend time with his new lady.

HMMM … I guess what I initially thought was just a fun, work-fling has grown into something more. It’s one thing to carry on while on location for work … but when you bring your fling back home with you — that’s some seriousness, y’all. Still … I’m not 100% convinced that this relationship will stand the test of time. If we ever get to see photos of Olivier with Halle‘s daughter Nahla Ariela, well, then we can be sure things are on like Donkey Kong. Time will tell … but, thus far, these two are keepin’ the fling very alive.

Morgan Freeman, David Fincher Still Planning A 'Rendezvous With Rama'

Morgan Freeman has wanted to bring an adaptation of Arthur C. Clarke's classic 1972 sci-fi novel "Rendezvous With Rama" to the big screen for the better part of a decade-and-a-half. But despite having David Fincher attached to direct back in 2007, the project -- which tells of a group of human explorers trying to unlock [...]

Rhys InfansFROM MTV SPLASH PAGE: After rumors that ranged from Michael Fassbender to Philip Seymour Hoffman, it appears that the villain in director Marc Webb's "Spider-Man" reboot has finally been found in the form of Rhys Ifans.

Deadline reports the breaking news that Sony Pictures Entertainment has offered the lead villain role in "Spider-Man" to the Welsh actor. If he accepts the offer, Ifans will join a growing cast list that already includes Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker and Emma Stone as his ill-fated first love Gwen Stacy.

It's currently unknown which villain Ifans would play in the "Spider-Man" reboot. Based on his body type and the characters he's known to play, not to mention the involvement of Stone as Gwen Stacy, it's not far-fetched to imagine that Ifans is playing Green Goblin. But the character was famously played by Willem Dafoe in the original Sam Raimi-directed "Spider-Man" film, and it's possible that Sony will want to move away from that series as they reboot the franchise. Read more...

Is Rhys Infans the right man to play the villain in the "Spider-Man" reboot? And which villain would you like to see him play? Let us know in the comments!

Christian Rock Wedding Songs - How to Find a Good One

How many times have you seen books, articles, even seminars on how to write a good song - which, in itself isn't a bad thing - but as one songwriter aptly remarked, "okay, I've written the song - now what?" Getting a half decent answer to that question has, in my experience, been responsible for more songwriters failing in this industry, than for any other reason. So, what is a songwriter to do once a song is written?

daniel craig wants to play james bond 007 in new movie mgm still have money problems

It's the role of his career! He isn't giving up on it!

Daniel Craig is imploring MGM to find a solution to their financial problems so that he can slip into a tuxedo and start pistol whipping people again with his Golden Eye.

In other words, he wants back in playing Bond, James Bond.

In a recent interview, Daniel expressed his frustration with the delay in making another 007 flick, saying:

“Unless MGM can sort themselves out, we can’t make a movie. It’s hard to talk about things that aren’t happening. There will be more to say when things are happening. I’m really keen to get going, it’s as simple as that. And I’m hoping that, in a while, we will…I felt as if we were just getting going and that we’d get the chance to make a couple more. I’d like fulfill the circle with the story. But, yes, there is nothing really to say until whoever gets that house [at MGM] in order. There’s no chance of getting it made until those things are taken care of…I love playing Bond — I don’t want to be away from it for too long.”

And we love you as Bond, but money makes the studio go round and without it, then it becomes a no dice situation!

Hopefully, someone will shake the money tree into their pockets before you have to start collecting social security!

Eric Bana Talks 'Avengers' Envy, Mark Ruffalo's Hulk

FROM MTV SPLASH PAGE: After the cast of "The Avengers" assembled for the first time at Comic-Con in July — Marvel vets like Robert Downey Jr. standing with newbies such as Mark Ruffalo — a former superhero might have been thinking, "Man, that could've been me…"
Before Ruffalo was tapped to play the Hulk — [...]

Before this weekend, M. Night Shyamalan had never been to a comic conference of any kind. But luckily for fans of the "Sixth Sense" and "Unbreakable" director, he made an exception for New York Comic Con 2010, where he turned out for an hour-long panel moderated by MTV's own Josh Horowitz. The panel was not to discuss the auteur's most recent cinematic endeavor, "The Last Airbender," however; instead, Night was on hand to reminisce about "Unbreakable," which -- believe it or not -- celebrates its 10-year anniversary this November.

Initially met with box office and critical disdain when it was released in 2000, Shyamalan's tale of a security guard (Bruce Willis) who discovers that he's a real-life comic-book hero, has come to be regarded as one of the finest superhero films ever put to celluloid.

During an illuminating panel discussion in the Javits Center's packed theater, Night talked about why he hasn't made "Unbreakable 2" (he said he felt like "a failure" after the film's icy reception), showed the audience never-before-seen story boards, and walked the crowd through his creative process.

It was like a session of Filmmaking 101, but with lots of funny anecdotes and some equally hilarious fan questions (this "Sixth Sense" query was our personal fave: "Why was he dead the whole time? It made me so mad.")

Shyamalan remained candid after the panel, joining MTV News in our skybox for a laid-back one-on-one in which he chatted about just how drastically the reaction to "Unbreakable" has changed over the years.

"It was initially hating," he laughed. "If we were hanging out back then, you would have heard: 'Oh, "Unbreakable" sucks! "Unbreakable" sucks!' You just hear them openly going at me about it. And then as time went on you hear them say, 'I know some people didn't like it, but I really loved it.' So it's a transition. It's almost like stages of mourning. Then you get to the place like four years later where people start running across traffic when I get out of a car -- you hear like tires screech actually happens -- and then people come running and be like, '"Unbreakable" is my favorite movie of all time! Wait right here; I'm going to buy a DVD. I'm like, 'I can't just stand in the parking lot while you go buy a DVD, but I appreciate it.'"

He continues: "It's almost like the group that didn't get the movie, or was disappointed that it wasn't a scary movie, got quiet, and the group that loved the movie, who was very quiet, became vocal. And now they run the show."

So does this mean Night will reassess his position on making that long-awaited "Unbreakable" sequel? While he won't give a definitive answer, we're hoping this weekend's outpouring of love for the film will provide him with some seriously "Unbreakable" incentive.

Are you one of the diehard "Unbreakable" fans who's itching for a sequel? Let us know in the comments
